Two women from Portland, Oregon have invented a fun accessory for helmets. Kids love them and their parents approve. But not just kids like them.
Magnet Spotz are made of the same reflective material found on traffic signs and can be seen by night drivers over a block away. They sit on the highest point of the rider and have springs so they bounce around attracting even more attention. We use strong magnets for our product which provide incredible staying power while allowing them to be interchanged and removed.
We created Dotz to provide a place for the Magnet Spotz to adhere on helmets. Dotz have adhesive on one side and a magnet on the other and can hold Magnet Spotz with great strength. Of course, Magnet Spotz will adhere to any surface with "magnetude": work cubicles, refrigerators, cars. And the Dotz give them staying power on other surfaces as well.
We chose Portland to launch the product because it is such a bike town, and, well, we live here.
